05/01/2007: "Tuesday Night Random Notes"
Dylan’s soccer team has not been that fruitful in wins this year. They are one and five on the season. However, I have been impressed at how this team has not given up, and plays hard-nosed until the final whistle. The games are still fun to watch, never mind the outcome. The kids work hard.
He scored his first goal of the season in last night’s game! He’s had quite a struggle this year with a hamstring injury, so it was good to see him score last night. He needed that feather in his cap.
The weather started out rather pleasant, but turned chilly as the night went on. This Spring has simply been off to a cold start. The days are nice, but those nights are hard out on the soccer field.

Although Dylan has been injured and has missed some track meets, he received his track sweatshirt today with his name on the back. He seems pretty pumped up about that. I hope he can get over that injury and get back on the track! I have seen him in only one race. I want to see him be able to run at full strength and be a part of the winning mile relay.

One of my co-workers asked me if I had had my interview for the Network Design manager position yet. I had to laugh because nothing has been set up yet. We are all so busy, that hiring a new manager has not seemed to be a high priority recently. There are several shoes to fill in our overall organization.
