04/03/2007: "Jesus Christ: Our Moral Compass"

listening to: FM 90.7 -- Andrews University -- Classical
reading: Northern Stars: The Anthology of Canadian Science Fiction

I had writtn this below with the intention of expanding upon it at some point. However, I really like how concise it is, so I shall leave it as is for now.

----------

Without a moral compass, we have a lot more options in what we can do with our time. The sheer number of options can overwhelm us, and cause us to run from activity to activity, a seemingly endless cycle of interest and disinterest.

With a moral compass, we choose to prioritize based upon Christ-like behavior. The choices diminish in a hurry. However, we are not restricted, we are set free from the rubbish.
